Invitation or Command

1. "You shall have no other God's before Me"

2. "You shall not make-for yourself a carved image - or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth".

 James 2:10   for whoever shall keep the whole law and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.

Deuteronomy 28:1-14: "Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. 2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God: Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks. 5 Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. 6 Blessed shall you be when you come in and blessed shall you be when you go out. The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you. 9 The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He as sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways. Then all the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you. And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. 12 The Lord will open to you His good treasure........." These are some of the blessings you will receive if you obey the Lord your God. If you have a Bible I dare you to read the curses you WILL receive if you do not obey the Lord your God! BACK TO BASICS

In this country today, which is still a Christian country, very few people including some ministers of God’s Word, the Bible, who I might add, teach the word of God in the so called institutionalised churches, do not believe in what it says, is all true. Some ministers do not believe in the Virgin Birth, some do not believe in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, some believe that Homosexuality is OK with God and allow them to preach the word of God, some even allow same sex marriages and perform the ceremonies what would they say if God gave them a word to preach on Leviticus 20:13 - "if a man lies with a male as he lies with a women, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them" or Romans 2:27-32 - "Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another. Men with men committing what is shameful and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with unrighteousness, sexual immorality, or 1 Cor. 6:9-10 - Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 will inherit the kingdom of God. Please don't get this wrong, God loves all sinners, it is the sin He hates. Don’t forget these people are supposed to teach us the ways of God the Words of Truth.

Let’s look at the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, what happened to the body, was it stolen! or was it buried somewhere else! or was it all fictional. Who would benefit if any one of these things were true? No one would! The Romans would not steal it, they were there to govern and keep the peace. The Jewish people would not, in fact they asked the Roman Governor to place a guard at the tomb incase the disciples tried to steal it and cause more trouble. The disciples would not benefit because they would have been preaching lies and dying for a cause which they knew was a lie! And the same thing applies if it were not true. In fact, Jesus was seen by about 500 people after he died!

The disciples were put through horrible tortures and deaths for their beliefs as is the case around the world today, imagine death by sawing in half or stoned or being crucified upside down, as Peter was, because he thought he was not good enough to die as Jesus had died on the cross.

GUILT BY ASSOCIATION

If you were in a gang in which a person murdered another, you would be guilty of the same crime by association. You might get a lighter sentence than the one who actually committed the crime but nevertheless you were guilty because you did nothing to stop the crime from happening! Guilt by Association. It is the same principle and law in the Kingdom of God. If you go to a fellowship where the Biblical truths are not taught and you continue to go, then you are guilty by association because you go there and are seen to be supporting what is going on.

I am sure that all institutionalised churches are not tarred with the same brush, as it were, there are some ministers who are Bible believing Christians and teach the truth, but they are guilty by association for not standing for what is right and true if they continue and say nothing to their denominational leadership. Is it because they do not want to lose their power in the church! or their church owned houses! either way, they are not doing their duty, they are there to teach us the ways of God, His truths, which at the end of the day can bless you or curse you. You either believe the Bible in its entirety or not at all, you cannot believe in the bits you want too. There are no grey areas with God, only black and white. Ignorance is no excuse.

DARE TO BE DANIEL'S

Daniel was a man who stood up for what was right (Dan. 6:1-28) he stood up to King Darius and was thrown into the lion’s den, but God shut the mouths of the lions and he was not even scratched. His three friends Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego, they stood up to King Nebuchadnezzar for what was right and were thrown into the fiery furnace, but God was with them and they came out with not a hair singed on their heads. (Dan. 3: 1-25). They stood up while the rest bowed down, like the church, the body of Christ, today, is bowing down to the wants of the world and not conforming to the ways of Gods laws and not standing its ground for which purpose it was raised.

CURSES AND BLESSINGS

This country is under a curse of God, because there are no moral values left in it. One of the first signs of a Biblical curse is the lack of the WORD of God. God in His wisdom withholds His word and lets people get worse and worse in their morals until they get so low that they cannot do anything else but cry to Him for help.

In Noah's time people got so bad, despite being warned by Noah, God had no alternative but to start all over again. So He wiped every living thing of the world with a great flood and started everything again with Noah and his family. This country, indeed this world is heading that way again very fast. Just think back to what has happened this century alone, just read the following taken from Mark chapt. 13 and verses 5-8: 5 "Take heed that no one deceives you, [this is Jesus speaking] 6 for many will come in my name saying 'I am he,' and will deceive many. ' But when you hear of wars and rumours of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. 8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows"          Mark 13: 19-23, 19 in those days there will be tribulation, such as has not been seen since the beginning of creation which God created until this time, nor ever shall be. 20 And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days. 21 Then if anyone says to you `look, here is the Christ!' or, look, He is there! do not believe it. 22 for false Christ's and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 23 But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand".

Does that make any bells ring in your head? Just think of all the wars that have happened, all the earthquakes and various other disasters, worst of all, the mass killings that have taken place! Some people will say that the mass killings that have happened in Bosnia were in the name of Christianity, but I put it to those people that it was done out of self gain and not Christianity.

Those men who committed those terrible deeds were not Christians, they were pure and simple, outright savage killers and cowards to boot, they will receive their reward on the day of judgement, I and lots of other "Born again" Christians will be there to see them thrown into the fires of hell and eternal damnation!

This also goes for the Roman church in the days of the Inquisition another series of mass killings and torture and for what, the glorification of the pope. A man who calls himself "The Vicar of Christ on earth" what blasphemy! this is a denomination of the Body of Christ who worships idols! a violation of the 1st. commandment by calling to Mary instead of Jesus Christ who was the one who died on the cross to save us of our sins. The leaders of this body are the ones to blame, not the people who are blinded by their teachings, but there again, ignorance is no excuse! The Roman church also break the 2nd, "You shall not make for yourself a carved image", every Roman church has an idol of Mary and so have some Anglican churches, also they have our Lords image still up on the cross, don't they know that He was taken down from the cross and was buried and rose again on the third day and is now sitting on the right hand side of God the Father intercessing for us!

The Roman church also say that your sins can only be forgiven through their priests in the confessional, there is no priest, or man on this earth that can forgive your sins, only God can do that and that is through Jesus Christ. It says in Matthew 27:51 Then (this is at the moment the Lord died) behold the veil at the temple was torn in two from top to bottom and the earth quaked and the rocks were split. The veil was the thick curtain between the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies where only the priests were allowed to go. The fact that it was torn in two from top to bottom indicates that this was not an act of man. Jesus' death opens the way to the presence of God Himself. So we can boldly approach the throne of God, ourselves and ask for forgiveness of our sins through Jesus Christ who, alone is our High Priest, not Mary and certainly not through a Roman priest. This only applies to those people who have given their lives to Jesus ["Born Again" see John 3:3, 1 Peter 1:23] and received His Holy Spirit being "saved by His Grace and Mercy. Otherwise you are under the Old Law and the wages of sin is death!

The Anglican body, they are reverting back to the Roman body with their Archbishop calling the pope "holy father" and the "ecumenical movement" what a sham that is. I will admit it is what our Lord prayed for in His prayer to the Father, for unity, [John 17:1-26] but how can this happen. Each denomination has its own beliefs and doctrines; otherwise there would be no need for denominations in the first place. There can only be "unity" in the body of Christ when we all believe the same thing, the truth which is in the Bible, and in the Gospels there is no compromise, because that is what would happen if the ecumenical movement have their way. They would have to compromise with each other, with the result being, a watered down gospel with no power to do God’s will.

The Roman church is the most powerful and richest church in the world; the Anglicans are a close second. Just think of all the property they own and the palaces and large houses they live in and where did this all come from, well, the likes of you and me. The early New Testament church was a poor one and they thrived. It says in Acts 4:32-37 that the people who were saved, sold all their land and houses to give to the poor amongst them and that they were all of one mind believing in the same things that's "unity". They never amassed the wealth and property of today's so called "church". The Bible says that we are the body of Christ and that Jesus is the head of that body, not the pope or the archbishop or indeed the Queen. She takes an oath before God as the Defender of the Faith, [singular] but when Prince Charles takes the crown, he says he will be the Defender of the Faith, which includes several faiths in this country, and what I wonder will the great archbishop say to that when he crowns the new king, nothing as he always has done in the past, he will conform yet again to the worlds standards driving this country deeper and deeper into the wrath of God.

THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH

What is the New Testament Church? We know that the "church" is the people and not the "building" it meets in, and that Jesus Christ is the head of those people. The Bible says that each person of that body has a special gift, [1 Corinthians 12:1-31] verse 12 says: "for as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body so also is Christ". All believers are members of the Body of Christ! 13 For by one Spirit we were all baptised into one body - whether Jews or Greeks [gentiles], whether slaves or free - and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For in fact the body is not one member but many.

It is easier to say what the "church" is not. The word church, as we have said before, is not the building, but the people who meet in it, the "Ekklesia". The word church has lost its meaning in these days, people say "we are going to "church", it is applied to a material building. We are going to the building where the "church" meets is more to the point. The Lord did not mean that He would build "church buildings" when He said "I will build my church".

When God rent the veil of the material temple at Jerusalem at the death of Jesus, He forever finished with material Tabernacles and material dwelling places where His glory and presence had been manifested in Old Testament times.

The true temple is the Church, made up of living stones, [believers]. The building is a place where the church meets. So we do not go to church, we go to where the church meets together in a building, a sheep pen.

1 Peter 2:5, 9 say's "you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. .... But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light". There are a number of things and groups in existence today called "the church" but they certainly are not that which the Lord said he would build, nor do they measure up to that which the New Testament means when it speaks of the church! It is these false concepts of the church which have to be rooted out, torn down and plucked up and destroyed before the truth and reality can be built and then planted.

The Church is not a Denomination, organisation or sect. the many and multiplied Churches, with their multiplied names, all claiming to be the Lord's Church are not necessarily His Church. Christ said He would build His Church not the various churches named today.

Denominationalism is contrary to the scriptures. Denominations are the evidence of our carnality and divisions. We speak of the Church of England, the Roman Catholic Church, the Methodist Church, the Baptist Church, the Pentecostal Church, and the Reformed Church and so on; the list goes deeper into the smaller groups and even the cults. This divided condition of Christendom is indeed sinful and evidence or our carnalities.

1 Corinthians 3:1-6 say's "And I brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. 2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food: for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able: 3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? 4 For when one say's I am of Paul and another say's I am of Apollos' are you not carnal. 5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believe, as the Lord gave to each one. 6 I planted, Apollos watered but God gave the increase". [carnal = of the flesh what is of the flesh is against God and if it is against God it is rebellion, therefore a sin!] The word "church" is a translation of the Greek word EKKLESIA, which is made up of two other words; EK which means "out of" and KALE which means" to call so the word EKKLESIA means "the called out ones". It is used in Scripture to refer to the nation of Israel and to the Christian community of believers, whether in heaven or on earth.
